In August 2025, I attended the Future Forest Festival in Fredericton, NB for the first time, and it transformed me in the best way. Throughout the experience I felt connected to the spirit of a bird — specifically an eagle — as I moved intuitively from place to place, meeting people and following whatever called to me. As well as the divine signs of alignement and animal communication — we spotted two eagles soaring above us, while sitting in the river and later found a 12-inch feather coming back to our campsite.
This artwork embraces the Spirit of the Eagle and the red-and-blue polarity — Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, hot and cool — the internal guiding systems that shaped my experience at Future Forest and reflected back aspects of my deepest self.
The intuitive, scribble-like marks on either side were created in pure flow, acting as a subconscious language. Lines extend from the wings into single strands that meet at the spine, spiral upward, and enter the Eye of Vision — the third eye, intuition, and the eagle’s heightened sight. The red and blue merge within the iris before extending outward again, completing a cycle of receiving and releasing subconscious information. Yellow and green anchor the heart at the center, bridging these dual energies.
Eagle of Vision explores polarity, intuition, insight, freedom, and the subconscious mind. It speaks to letting intuition guide your path while balancing the divine masculine and feminine forces that shape our actions, whether we realize it or not.
